FAQ

  • Vorverkauf

      • The Structural Load Capacity is the amount of static weight a trampoline can hold. A lejump is strong enough to hold more than this weight, but this limit allows for a safe margin before the mat will touch the ground.
      • The Maximum Single User Weight is based on how heavy you are and how high you jump. It is about ensuring jumpers don’t ‘bottom out’ (touch the ground while jumping).
    • Does trampoline contribute to a healthy lifestyle?

Studies have shown that trampolining is suitable for people who do fitness training or who want to lose weight. Trampolining is therefore good for your health and certainly contributes to a healthy lifestyle!

Jumping on a trampoline exercises the whole body, and the g-force that bouncing produces helps to build muscle and burn fat quickly. Muscles a trampoline works out include legs, thighs, arms, hips and stomach. It also has the added benefit of improving agility and balance.

    • Why is a Lejump Trampoline the best choice?

Many trampolines are offered in various shapes and sizes around the world, but Lejump is the best choice because you are not just choosing Lejump, you are also choosing quality, safety and loads of fun!

Our customer service is best in the industry. We will help you with any questions or issues related to our Lejump trampolines.

    • Is there a difference in the springs on Lejump Trampolines?

Lejump has developed various springs for the trampolines for optimum jumping experience. All our springs are so flexible that both children and adults can jump safely and easily on the trampoline. The extra long springs enable you to make higher jumps on an even larger jumping surface.

    • Other trampolines have enclosures - what is different about the Lejump Trampoline enclosure?

Lejump Trampoline enclosure is strong yet provides a unique flexibility that gently redirects wayward jumpers back to the center of the trampoline.

Some trampolines may have enclosures but they aren't flexible and are held up with rigid steel poles which introduce another impact risk. Basic enclosures only stop jumpers from falling off. There is a risk that these jumpers could make impact with the springs and frame.

The Lejump Trampoline enclosure is UV-resistant to prevent deterioration from the sun and other harsh weather conditions

  • Safety Use

    • How many people can be on a trampoline at the same time?

Only one person should be jumping on the trampoline at a time. Chance of injury increases when more than one person is jumping. Also, please observe the weight rating for your specific model trampoline; exceeding the weight rating, even if only 1 person is using the trampoline at a time, can fatigue and over-stretch the springs, as well as increase the possibility of "bottoming out" (when the jumper hits the ground) the trampoline which can cause serious injury to the jumper. Damage caused to the trampoline and springs as a result of exceeding the weight rating is not covered by warranty.

    • How do I jump as safely as possible on my trampoline?

To jump as safely as possible on your trampoline, there a few tips you can take into consideration:

      • Only one person should be jumping on the trampoline at a time.
      • Always jump in the center of the trampoline jumping mat.
      • Stop jumping higher when you feel like you are losing control.
      • Do not make somersaults without professional guidance.
      • Focus on the middle circle during jumping.
      • Close the enclosure zipper during the jumping.
    • Is it okay to jump on the trampoline if it's wet?

A wet trampoline bed (the jumping surface) is too slippery for safe jumping. Also, gusty or severe winds can cause jumpers to lose control. Use the trampoline only under appropriate weather conditions.

    • Are trampolines dangerous?

The dangers of trampolines have been increasingly highlighted in recent years as garden trampolines have become more popular. Trampolines can be dangerous when used incorrectly.

Reduce the risks of trampolining by purchasing a high quality trampoline and by using it correctly according to the user manual. Always have a responsible adult directly supervising.

    • How old do children have to be to use a trampoline?

The age that a child can bounce depends on the type of trampoline. Larger trampolines are mostly suitable from age 6 through to adulthood.

  • Warranty & Replacement

    • What warranty period do you offer on your trampolines?

The warranty available on our trampolines varies depending on different parts. For the steel frame, our warranty is 5 years since your purchase. For the spring and frame pad, our warranty is 2 years since your purchase. Rest of trampoline parts have 1 year warranty since purchase.

Lejump is pleased to offer a full complement of replacement parts available for purchase. Please contact our Customer Care Team at support@lejump.com make an inquiry. You will need to provide your model number when placing an order for a spare part

    • When do I have to replace my trampoline springs, jumping mat, safety pad or safety net?

Regularly check if all parts are still in their original state. Isn’t this the case? Are your trampoline springs completely stretched? Is the hole in your trampoline jumping mat bigger than a 2 euro coin?

      • Are there multiple holes that are smaller than a 2 euro coin? If yes, then it is smart to have your jumping mat evaluated by an expert. The more holes there are in a trampoline jumping mat, the bigger the chance that the mat rips completely.Or is the tear in your safety pad too big? Then it is time to replace that part. The safety net has to be replaced after a couple of years or when it is possible to get your finger stuck in the net.
      • The trampoline safety pad needs to be replaced when it does not cover the springs correctly or effectively.
      • Has the jumping mat become greyish and mat? If yes, it is smart to replace the jumping mat. As soon as the mat becomes greyish and mat, it means that Uv-resistance of the mat has been affected and the materials have become brittle. This increases the chance of tears meaning that your child’s safety cannot be guaranteed.

  • Assembly

    • How long does it take to set up a trampoline?

Depending on which model, the time to set up a new trampoline varies between two and two and a half hours, for two people. We provide a range of assembly videos on our YouTube Channel.

    • I'm having some trouble assembling my trampoline. What should I do?

Be sure that you have read and are following all directions. Changing the directions will make it difficult or impossible to correctly assemble your trampoline. For a round trampoline, each of the top rails with leg sockets acts as a bridge between two support assemblies (the W-shaped base with leg extensions attached). When attaching the bed to the frame, it is important to keep the spring tension even by using the clockwise procedure with your round trampoline. If you have any questions, you can contact us.

  • Maintenance

    • Is the Lejump Trampoline weather-resistant? Can it stay up through all seasons?

All components of the Lejump Trampoline are weather-resistant, including UV stabilized mat and net rods, a galvanized and powder-coated steel frame and a UV stabilized polypropylene mat and safety enclosure.

However, to extend trampoline usage life, we recommend you follow our tips in the maintenance section.

    • How do I make my trampoline winter-proof? / How should I care for my trampoline in the winter months?

Be sure to remove any snow so that it does not accumulate on your trampoline's bed (and cause the springs to stretch). Depending on the severity of winter winds in your area, you may want to remove the frame pads and store them inside.

In windy conditions it is important that you move your trampoline to a sheltered area, remove the enclosure and secure it to the ground using a trampoline anchor kit.

During the winter months we advise that you dismantle your trampoline and store it in a dry place as this will prevent rust as well as damage to the frame, springs and enclosure.

The fall and winter period knows a lot of rainy days and decreasing temperatures. This also means that your trampoline has to withstand a lot during this time of the year. A protective cover is a great solution for this.

    • Do I need to maintain and clean my trampoline?

Most trampolines get a lot of use, so it’s important to regularly check for any signs of wear, tear and deterioration. Our quick checklist can help know what to look for:

      • Holes, tears or sagging in the jumping mat.
      • Loose stitching or deterioration in the jumping mat.
      • Bent or broken frame parts.
      • Signs of rusting on metal parts.
      • Broken, damaged or missing springs.
      • Deterioration, holes and sagging on the enclosure net and safety pad.

If you notice any of the above, stop using the trampoline until the problem is resolved. Spare parts can be purchased from our website. If your trampoline is still under its warranty, contact us to make a claim.

If you haven’t used your trampoline for a longer period of time it may happen that it gets dirty. The trampoline safety pad and jumping mat are easily cleaned with a cloth and warm water. It is strongly discouraged to use detergent, abrasive or hot water. Might you have a stain that just can’t be removed by a cloth and warm water, then you can use green or very mild soap.

    • How can I prevent stains on my trampoline safety pad? What is the cause of this stain?

Your trampoline is placed outside day and night. Because of that, it has to withstand changing weather conditions and Uv-rays. After a while, you will notice traces of usage and will the weather conditions become visible on the trampoline safety pad.

Trampolines are often placed in a garden near trees, flowers, and bushes. These spread pollens and drop leaves. These will fall onto the trampoline and leave stains. When it rains for a longer period of time, water and moist accumulates in the trampoline safety pad. This amount of water can be the cause for fungus creation which can be expressed by black dots or spots.

To ensure that stains are not permanent, it is smart to clean your trampoline safety pad regularly. This is easily done with a cloth and warm, not hot, water. By doing this regularly, fungus, stains and “the weather” are prevented from permanently setting on your safety pad.

To enAdditionally, it is smart to buy a protective cover or weather cover for your trampoline. This cover he makes sure that twigs, dirt and other filth will not reach your trampoline.

When the cover is attached over a humid trampoline, there is a chance that fungus or mold builds up underneath the cover when the cover lays over the trampoline too long. That is why it is important to remove the cover after a couple of weeks to “air” out the materials. The best thing to do is removing the trampoline safety pad completely and store it somewhere dry.

A trampoline weather cover is a relatively cheap way of making sure your trampoline will last years!

    • What should I do if I live in a windy area? How do I prevent my trampoline from being blown away?

The trampoline and enclosure should be anchored to the ground in windy areas using a trampoline Anchor Kit. During severe winds we strongly encourage removing the trampoline mat by disconnecting all of the springs, or disassembling the entire trampoline.
